Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years of relevant experience; travel may be necessary to manage supplier relationships and ensure on-time assortment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Category Management, Merchandising, Buying or Purchasing.
• Experience in Flooring, Bathroom Fixtures, Sanitary Wares, Construction Materials, or Home Improvement products is an advantage.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management, analytical and commercial skills.
• Strong communication and decision-making skills; willingness to work on-site and travel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with goals, trends and customer needs.
• Manage product assortment, pricing, promotions, merchandising plans and launches.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate terms, ensure quality and availability.
• Monitor sales, inventory, margins, turnover and overall category performance.
• Develop and execute action plans to drive sales, improve margins and inventory.
