Job summary

Marlow Navigation Phils in Manila is seeking a Business Analyst to join our head office. This is a stable, reputable role in shipping software and business process improvement, offering exposure to cross-functional teams across the organization.

You will gather requirements, analyze processes, create BRD/FRS, collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and QA, and support UAT while maintaining documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, IS, CS, or Software Eng.
• 2–3 years in BA/Systems Analyst role or similar.
• Experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and BA best practices.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Developers, QA, and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication, planning, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong ability to translate business needs into functional requirements.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for system enhancements and new functionalities.
• Create BRD, FRS, process flow diagrams, use cases, and user stories.
• Work with Product Owners, UI/UX Designers, Developers, QA Testers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
• Assist in defining functional requirements, business rules, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions, workshops, and interviews; identify objectives and needs.
• Perform impact analysis for new requirements and change requests.
• Support UAT by preparing test scenarios and coordinating results.
• Maintain complete BA documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify risks, issues, and dependencies that affect delivery.
