Job summary

CARE Philippines is seeking a Business Operations Officer to support financial management for the department, including budgeting, reporting, and grant-related data entry across multiple accounts and teams. The role collaborates with the Senior Grants and Finance Manager and the CARE Finance Department.

Key responsibilities include preparing regular financial reports, analyzing spending against budget projections, and processing procurement and contracts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years work experience in relevant capacity or field.
• Experience with basic financial management skills including developing and monitoring budgets and financial reporting.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate well with others across countries and cultures and develop and maintain positive working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director Finance and Business Operations to manage procurement, contracts and vendor relations.
• Prepare management reports and budget monitoring tools to update budget holders on budget vs. actuals.
• Contribute to budgeting, planning, and strategy using BudgetMate, Power BI, and PeopleSoft.
• Support other duties as assigned by line manager.
