Job summary

Macroasia Corporation is seeking an Assistant Vice President – Legal & Human Resources to lead and integrate the company’s Legal and HR functions. The role partners with Senior Management to shape governance, risk management, and people strategies across the organization.

The AVP will drive policy development, talent management, and HR programs aligned with business objectives, ensuring regulatory compliance and effective employee relations across units.

Qualifications

• Requires 10–15 years in Legal, HR, or labor relations.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder mgmt required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and document management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal advice to Senior Management and business units on corporate, commercial, employment, labor, and regulatory matters.
• Oversee the review, drafting, and negotiation of contracts, agreements, memoranda, policies, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
• Manage legal risks and provide recommendations on liabilities, disputes, and transactions.
• Oversee labor and employment-related cases and coordination with external counsel.
