Job summary

MR DIY Philippines, Waltermart Sucat, is seeking a Store Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor to lead the store team, drive sales, and ensure smooth daily operations on site.

The role requires strong leadership, merchandising, and customer service, with responsibilities including staff coaching, display setup, compliance with SOPs, and reporting to HQ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/College Degree in any field.
• Filipino and English language proficiency.
• 5 years of working experience in retail.
• Amenable to work in Waltermart Sucat.
• Preferably Supervisor/5+ years of experience in Sales - Retail.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the store’s sales achievement and growth.
• Set up gondolas and merchandise display.
• Ensure that the store’s daily operation is properly managed.
• Keep the store tidy and clean.
• Organize & arrange merchandise in the product selling area.
• Greeting & serving customers.
• Maintain stability & reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements.
• Recruiting, training, coaching & disciplining employees; monitoring & appraising job responsibilities.
• Provide constructive guidance to team on effective operations.
• Protect employees & customers by providing a safe & clean store environment.
• Daily bank-in of store sales.
• Stocking & ordering items as needed.
• Complete, update & report to HQ & superior.
• Sending documents related to HQ and superior.
• Working within established guidelines & SOP.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the Asst Branch Manager/ Branch Manager.
