Job summary

Southstar Drug in the Philippines is seeking a licensed pharmacist to ensure the accuracy of prescriptions during dispensing and to counsel patients on drug-related matters. The role involves coordinating with the Corporate Pharmacist and maintaining updated reference materials in the store.

The successful candidate will ensure proper storage, removal of bad stocks, and readiness for FDA/PDEA inspections while training staff on new products and practices.

Qualifications

• Registered Pharmacist or licensed holder is required.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Willing to work shifting schedules and compressed work week (5 days on, 2 days off).
• Willing to work on holidays and weekends if necessary.
• Relocation allowances are provided for those willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures validity and accuracy of prescription in dispensing medicines.
• Engages in patient counseling and queries on drug related matters.
• Coordinates with the Corporate Pharmacist.
• Ensures that all reference books are updated and available in the store.

• Ensures that all medicines are in good condition.
• Represents the store during FDA/ PDEA inspection.
