Job summary

Gaisano Brothers Merchandising, Inc. in Cebu City seeks an Assistant Branch Manager – Store Operations to support the Branch Manager in overseeing day-to-day retail branch operations, protect assets, and drive customer service excellence across all shifts.

You will supervise floor staff, manage opening/closing routines, inventory accuracy, POS operations, and staff scheduling, while enforcing health and safety standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• 2–4 years of supervisory experience in retail store operations or branch administration.
• Proficiency in POS platforms, retail inventory systems, and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Strong leadership, operational problem-solving, cash management, and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily opening and closing routines, ensuring branch security and cash-handling protocols.
• Supervise real-time sales floor activities and maintain store presentation standards.
• Act as Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the Branch Manager.
• Manage end-to-end inventory control including stock receiving, cycle counts, transfers, and shrinkage reduction.
• Supervise POS operations, daily cash drawer reconciliations, and bank deposits.
