About the role

The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the retail store, ensuring the achievement of sales targets, delivering excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading the store team. The role ensures compliance with company standards, operational procedures, and visual merchandising guidelines while driving business growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall daily operations of the retail store
• Achieve monthly and annual sales, profitability, and KPI targets
• Lead, coach, motivate, and develop store personnel to deliver outstanding customer service
• Monitor staff performance and conduct regular coaching and performance evaluations
• Ensure excellent customer experience and promptly resolve customer concerns
• Maintain proper inventory levels and minimize stock losses through effective inventory control
• Oversee receiving, replenishment, stock transfers, and stocktaking activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and health and safety standards
• Execute visual merchandising standards and promotional campaigns
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and operational reports

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field
• At least 3–5 years of experience in retail operations, with 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Experience in FMCG, beauty, personal care, pharmacy, supermarket, convenience store, or retail chain operations is highly preferred
• Proven experience in achieving sales targets and managing store profitability
• Strong leadership, coaching, and people management skills
• Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving abilities
• Knowledge of inventory management, merchandising, and retail KPIs
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and POS systems
• Willing to work on a 6-day workweek, rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Willing to be assigned to any store location as required
