Job summary

Asticom Technology Inc. is seeking a Store Associate to support daily store operations, focusing on cleanliness, maintenance, security, and accurate inventory management.

You will help ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by keeping shelves stocked and assisting in locating products. The role requires vigilance in security practices, adherence to SOPs, and proactive communication with teammates.

Qualifications

• Experience in store operations and inventory management is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, maintenance, security and supplies.
• Check delivered stocks for display; keep shelves neat and full.
• Assist customers by guiding them to products and helping bag items.
• Act as in-store security officer and manage backpacks at the counter.
• Participate in inventory counts and minimize shrinkage through monitoring.
• Communicate with peers and supervisor about product levels and queries.
• Follow SOPs for cash depositing or closing procedures.
• Adhere to company policies and store procedures at all times.

About the role

Primarily responsible for providing support in the store in the areas of cleanliness, maintenance, security, safety, and inventory management to ensure an exceptionally positive experience for customers.

Key responsibilities

• In charge of store appearance, cleanliness, maintenance, security and store supplies
• Ensure that delivered stocks are promptly checked and displayed, and that the store shelves always appear full and neat
• Assist in customer service by directing customers to appropriate product location and/or customer advisors, and assist in bagging and helping customers carry their shopping bags to their vehicles
• Act as in-store security officer, asking customers for their backpacks and other shopping bags to be put away in the package counter
• Participate in inventory counts, help ensure accuracy of inventory reports and keep shrinkage (expired and damaged) to a minimum through constant monitoring
• Regularly communicate with peers and immediate superior regarding product levels, customer queries and other store operational requirements
• Ensure that sensitive tasks that may be assigned, such as depositing cash or closing the store, are done strictly following the Company's SOPs
• Strictly follow company policies, standards and store operating procedures at all times
• Take every opportunity to promote and add value to the Healthy Options brand
