Job summary

ProArch is seeking an experienced Technical Lead to design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for enterprise storage environments in the Philippines. The role focuses on automating storage pool monitoring, alerting, and operational actions across production environments to ensure high availability and efficiency.

The ideal candidate brings extensive Python development, storage automation expertise, and hands-on experience with IBM DS8K, VTS, and z/OS contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering/IT or related field required.
• 10+ years hands-on Python scripting and automation development.
• Proven storage automation in enterprise environments.
• Experience with IBM DS8K and VTS storage platforms.
• Hands-on REXX/JCL and z/OS scripting experience.
• Strong Python automation for storage administration and infrastructure.
• Experience Python automation in z/OS environments and CI/CD tooling with Git/Jenkins.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for storage infrastructure.
• Build automated monitoring, alerting, and remediation workflows for storage pools.
• Develop Python-based tools to improve storage administration and reliability.
• Automate tasks across IBM DS8K and VTS platforms.
• Create automation frameworks for capacity, performance, health checks, and reporting.
• Maintain integrations between storage systems and enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Collaborate with infra and operations teams to implement scalable automation.
• Troubleshoot storage incidents and conduct root-cause analyses.
• Maintain source control and deployment pipelines using Git and Jenkins.
• Create technical docs and operational procedures for developed solutions.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and workflows.
