Job summary

BHF Multi Gab Inc. is seeking a stockroom specialist in the Philippines to manage merchandise, inventory, and daily stock movements across branches. You will receive deliveries, tag prices, stock shelves, and assist the Branch Manager with promotions and inventory tasks.

The role requires a background in business-related studies and hands-on experience in inventory, stocking, and warehousing. Training will be provided for up to 10 days at the assigned branch.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any business-related course.
• With experience as stockman or inventory handling.
• Willing to be trained for twelve (10) days in the branch to be assigned to.

Responsibilities

• Receive merchandise deliveries. Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received.
• Have a good knowledge of all products available in the store.
• Maintain awareness of all promotions, discounts, and advertisements.
• Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales merchandise sold and for display at selling area.
• Set-up advertising signs and displays of merchandise on shelves, counters, or tables to attract customers and promote sales.
• Take daily inventory of merchandise in the stockroom.
• Maintain cleanliness of the stockroom and equipments assigned. Clean display shelves and aisles as well.
• Pack or tie-up customer purchases for check-out.
• Assists the Account Officer in attaching and changing price tags on merchandise, referring to price list.
• Transport merchandise to customer’s vehicles and items for delivery.
• Keep a well-maintained record of all items that enter or leave the stockroom.
• Ensures that all merchandise are organized and marked to ensure that items can be located with ease on the stockroom shelf waiting for the next customer.
• Make separate areas for defective items, items for repair, and damaged items caused by fortuitous events
• Organize boxes of all display items on a separate area of the warehouse/stockroom
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear and tear or defects, reporting any damage to Branch Manager
