Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC. seeks a Staging Operator to coordinate and prepare materials for production at our Ohio site. You will organize parts, verify accuracy against specs, and support inventory control while following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical/trade school preferred.
• Experience in staging, material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (drill, wrench, screwdrivers).
• Basic computer skills (web browser, email).
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and materials.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Follow 3D model to install final parts on power cabinets.
• Use hand tools to complete tasks as assigned.
• Sort and stage material for final packaging station.
• Assemble wood pallets as required.
• Verify materials received against specifications.
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep staging area clean.
• Assist in other material handling/inventory tasks as needed.
• Stand for long periods and perform bending, kneeling, or ladder work.

Position Description:

Staging Operator

The Staging Operator at LayerZero Power Systems LLC. will be responsible for coordinating and preparing materials and components for production while ensuring they are properly organized and ready for uses strong organizational skills, pays close attention to detail, and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Primary Duties:

• Follow 3D model to install final parts (i.e. cover panels, labels, etc.) on power cabinets
• Use standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.) to complete tasks assigned
• Sort and stage material to be used at final packaging station
• Assemble wood pallets as required
• Verify the accuracy of the materials and components received by comparing them to the specifications provided
• Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to appropriate personnel
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain clean and organized staging area
• Assists in other tasks related to material handling and inventory control as needed
• Standing for extended periods of time also will be bending, squatting, kneeling, or climbing a stepladder

Experience & Skills

• Previous experience in staging, material handling, or warehouse operations preferred
• Basic knowledge of standard hand tools (i.e. drill, wrench, screwdrivers, etc.)
• Basic computer skills (i.e. web browser, email)
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and types of materials/components
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Education
