Job summary

XDOF is seeking a talented engineer to advance robot learning across simulation and real hardware. You will drive end-to-end development from data processing to model training and deployment, applying both classical robotics and learning-based approaches.

The role emphasizes rapid iteration, experimentation, and ownership in a fast-paced environment where state-of-the-art methods push system capabilities beyond existing limits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Robotics, CS, or related field.
• Strong experience with Python and PyTorch or JAX.
• Full stack experience across robot learning, including data processing, model training, and deployment.
• Experience deploying robot learning systems in research or production environments.
• Solid understanding of classical robotics vs learning-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Take a robotics system from 0 to 1 and iterate quickly based on real world feedback.
• Work across simulation and real hardware, including high-DOF manipulators and mobile robots.
• Design, implement, and deploy robot learning components.
• Stay at the forefront of state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and research.
• Thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with undefined solutions.
