Job summary

Healthway QualiMed Hospital San Jose del Monte is seeking personnel for Patient Care Administration. You will perform tasks in your assigned section, assess and provide individual nursing care, and record vital signs and treatments.

You will maintain patient charts, report abnormalities to physicians, assist with diagnostics and therapies, perform nursing tasks including IV insertion and catheters, ensure a safe environment, enforce infection control, and educate patients and families.

Responsibilities

• Performs tasks specific to assigned section
• Assesses, identifies, and provides individual nursing needs of patients.
• Takes and records vital signs: observes signs and symptoms, and gives remedial action when appropriate.
• Maintains and updates patient's chart. Records accurately all the treatment received by the patient
• Reports immediately facts or any abnormalities observed to the patient’s attending physician or resident, including evaluation of the present management of care.
• Prepares patients for, and assists physicians, with Diagnostics and therapeutic procedures.
• Performs nursing tasks such as IV insertion, catheterization, NGT insertion, irrigations, and other tasks that may be assigned
• Ensures safe and clean environment for the patient's recovery
• Implements infection control practices
• Instructs the patient and family about their roles in promoting successful therapy and rehabilitation
• Performs post-mortem care
