Job summary

Asian Hospital and Medical Center in Metro Manila invites applications for a caregiver to support the Nursing Division and contribute to CQI initiatives. You will assist nurses in delivering safe, compassionate patient care and coordinate patient transport across departments, including Radiology, Endoscopy, and the Operating Room.

Ideal candidates have experience in caregiving, strong attention to detail, and excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • Any college course/college level.
  • TESDA NC II in Caregiving.
  • Must have experience with Caregiving.
  • Strong attention to details and analytical skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service and patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursing Division in CQI and emergency response activities.
  • Assist nurses in providing safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
  • Coordinate with Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Staff Nurses regarding patient transport and other unit activities.
  • Safely transport patients to and from diagnostic and treatment areas (e.g., Radiology, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, OR).
  • Assist in transferring patients between beds, wheelchairs, and stretchers using proper handling techniques.
  • Assist nursing staff with postmortem care as directed.
  • Prepare, move, and set up equipment and treatment modalities requiring lifting, pushing, pulling, or repositioning.
  • Monitor oxygen tank levels and coordinate replenishment.
  • Deliver specimens, requisitions, charge slips, medications, supplies, and other documents with proper receipt.
  • Assist in monitoring, receiving, and transferring medications, sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment within the unit.
  • Accompany healthcare personnel during ambulance transfers or emergency patient transport.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of patient care areas and equipment.
  • Report malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information and hospital records.
  • Observe infection prevention and safety protocols.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and adherence to uniform and conduct codes.
  • Participate in continuing education and staff development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Head Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, or management.

  • Assist nurses in providing safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care.
  • Coordinate with the Head Nurse, Charge Nurse, and Staff Nurses regarding patient transport and other assigned unit activities.
  • Safely transport patients to and from diagnostic and treatment areas, including Radiology, Ultrasound, Endoscopy, Operating Room, and other hospital departments.
