Central Luzon Doctors' Hospital in the Philippines is hiring a Registered Nurse to admit and care for patients, perform nursing procedures, and coordinate with physicians to support diagnostic and therapeutic plans.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, valid PRC license, and BLS/ACLS certification; newly licensed nurses are welcome to apply. Work in a hospital ward setting with standard nursing duties and collaboration with the health care team.
Admits patients into the ward or specialized nursing units; assesses/ diagnoses problems and needs, implements appropriate nursing actions needed as guided by established nursing care procedures.
Prepares patient for nursing care procedures while giving importance to explaining procedures to be undertaken, observing medical asepsis, and ensuring compliance to the twelve rights of giving medications.
Identifies nursing needs of patient and provides nursing care and nursing procedures.
Provides assistance to and coordinates with the attending physician by assisting them when examining patients and on the conduct of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, clarifying and implementing doctor’s orders related to patient care, and relaying patient observations and carrying out orders given.
Coordinates with the health care team and other work units to secure supplies, support services, and information needed for the performance of the collaborative nursing care.
Ensures the availability and usability of required equipment and supplies related to nursing care within the nursing unit.
Records the charging of medical supplies/ materials and medication used by the patients.
Performs other duties and responsibilities analogous, related To and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities or as assigned by an immediate superior, as necessary.
