Job summary

Chong Hua Health Services Inc. is seeking a Staff Nurse I to support the healthcare team by addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general patient care across units, including ENT, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, Minor OR, and Wound/Ostomy Care.

The role emphasizes familiarizing with unit services, participating in quality improvement, and carrying out duties as directed by the supervisor to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required.
• PRC license as a Registered Nurse is required.
• 0–3 years of relevant working experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Member in good standing of professional association (PNA).
• Certified in all unit trainings per Nursing Training Matrix.
• Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Staff Nurse I provides support to the healthcare team by addressing the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of patient care related to the services of the unit, which will cover a wide patient demographic with assignment and rotations in ENT, Women's Health, Men's Health, Minor OR, Wound and Ostomy Care in the clinical operations.

At this level, the incumbent works on familiarizing him/herself with the services of the unit. S/He also participates in the continuous improvement of quality of service in the department, and performs other duties as directed by the immediate superior.

Qualifications

• A Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

• Possess a valid license from the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as a Registered Nurse

• With 0 - 3 years of relevant working experience

• Possess a current certificate in Basic Life Support Training (BLS)

• Current member of good standing of the following associations:Philippine Nurses' Association (PNA)

• Must be certified in all training required for the unit/ area of assignment as stated in the Nursing Training Matrix

• Healthcare industry experience is a plus

• Demonstrated understanding of basic corporate office software, including Microsoft Office 365 applications

• Effective communication skills. Proficiency in the Visayan dialect and/or Tagalog is required; ability to communicate well in English is an advantage
