Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Application Developer with strong .NET Core backend and React frontend skills to design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications. You will create REST API services, deliver React interfaces, and work with MS SQL Server to support Lifecycle Services IT initiatives.

You will own end-to-end feature delivery, contribute to architectural decisions, and help raise engineering standards within an Agile team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in CS, software engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of full-stack development with .NET Core and React.
Strong REST API design with ASP.NET Core and JWT/OAuth2.
Experience with MS SQL Server, T‑SQL, and performance tuning.
Good English communication and CI/CD experience.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain .NET Core backend services and RESTful APIs with proper design.
Develop React front-end components and integrate with .NET Core APIs.
Maintain MS SQL Server schemas, procedures, and queries with best practices.
Lead feature design and translate requirements into API contracts and UI components.
Integrate applications with internal systems and third-party REST APIs.
Drive code quality through reviews and engineering best practices.
Apply full SDLC across design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Debug production issues across .NET Core, SQL Server, and React; document work; participate in Agile ceremonies and CI/CD with Azure DevOps.
