Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in the Philippines is seeking an Equipment Engineer to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and continuous improvement in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.

You will partner with Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Quality and Facilities, mentor junior engineers, lead data-driven reliability initiatives, and drive safety, yield, and productivity improvements across assigned platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Computer, or related Engineering discipline.
• Experience in equipment engineering, maintenance engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related semiconductor/electronics manufacturing function is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, root cause analysis, statistical/problem-solving methods, and continuous improvement tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure assigned manufacturing equipment is maintained, qualified, and capable of supporting production requirements.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime and recurrence.
• Implement equipment improvement projects focused on reliability, uptime, yield, cycle time, cost, safety, and manufacturability.
• Support equipment installation, commissioning, qualification, setup validation, and release to production as applicable.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, escalation management, and technical investigations involving chronic or high-impact equipment issues.
• Develop and execute reliability improvement roadmaps, equipment capability enhancements, and cost/productivity improvement projects.
• Lead equipment qualification or change activities, including risk assessment, technical documentation, validation coordination, and stakeholder alignment.
• Mentor engineers and technicians on troubleshooting methods, equipment standards, documentation discipline, and best practices.
