Job summary

Mary Grace Cafe in Taguig is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to own end-to-end project management for restaurant opening, renovation, and expansion projects.

You will coordinate with electrical, mechanical, civil, and architectural designers, and ensure timely delivery of complete project requirements. The role requires 5–7 years in restaurant fit-out project management (contractor side) and strong knowledge of MEPFS plans, CAD, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of restaurant fit-out project management (contractor side).
• Working knowledge of MEPFS plans.
• PM certification is an advantage.
• Proficient with CAD, MS Office, and instant messaging apps.
• Willing to travel; driving ability is an advantage.
• Ready to start ASAP at ARCA South, Taguig.

Responsibilities

• Conduct project supervision, monitoring, and inspection.
• Prepare feasibility studies with data gathering and coordination.
• Conduct site visits and ocular inspections for new/existing stores.
• Review project design/layout and provide inputs.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Architectural designers.
• Prepare final design plans with BOQ and bid quotations approval.
• Ensure timely delivery of project requirements to meet deadlines.
• Create progress reports and updates for stakeholders.
• Perform punch listings for proper turnover with partners.
• Prepare requisitions, payment requests, and work completion reports.
• Coordinate with Contractors, Project Management Head, and Support & Operations.
• Prepare permits and plans; liaise with environmental permit requirements and WWTP plans.
• Coordinate with local government agencies to meet regulatory requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducts project supervision, monitoring, and inspection.

• Prepares feasibility study of projects which entails gathering of necessary data, internal coordination with involved departments, and liaising to external resources.

• Conducts site visits and ocular inspections soon to open and existing stores and facilities.

• Reviews design and layout of the projects and provide necessary inputs.

• Coordinates with appropriate contractors on the design of the project such as Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, and Architectural designers.

• Prepares final design plans with BOQ and accredits appropriate contractors and bidding of quotations with due approval.

• Ensures the timely delivery of complete project requirements in order to meet project deadlines.

• Creates progress reports and regularly provides update to stakeholders.

• Conducts punch listing for proper turnover together with project partners.

• Prepares requisitions of necessary items, request for payment, and work completion report and endorses to Project Head and Top Management.

• Regularly coordinates with Contractors, Project Management Head, and Support & Operations Team.

• Prepares necessary permits and plans needed.

• Coordinates with point persons on environmental permit requirements and WWTP plans.

• Liaises to local government agencies in order to meet regulatory requirements.

• Performs other miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the immediate head.
