Job summary

eClerx Philippines, Inc. is seeking a senior graphic and motion designer with a strong portfolio to lead design projects for global markets.

A bachelor’s in Art/Graphic Design and 7+ years’ experience across print, digital, and motion media are required; you will create visuals, logos, layouts and localization as needed. You will collaborate with marketing and clients, manage timelines, ensure on-brand output across magazines, billboards and packaging, and present rough drafts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Art/Graphic Design or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in graphic and motion design across print, digital, and media.
• Strong portfolio of illustrations and designs.
• Superior artistic and design skills with an eye for aesthetics.
• Proficiency with design software: InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop.
• Excellent organizational, time-management, and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Flexible working hours (at least 2 days weekly) to align with USA team meetings.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Study design briefs and determine requirements
• Schedule projects and define constraints
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements
• Prepare rough drafts and present ideas
• Develop illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand
• Develop Motion design concepts and also be able to adapt existing motion designs to fit the markets’ needs.
• Use the appropriate creative principles, such as colors and layouts, for each graphic based on shared toolkits
• Participates in collaborative revision and approval process with marketing and IMC team to produce final approved design
• Test graphics across various media
• Amend designs after feedback
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand
• Creates designs for clients that visually communicate desired product or project messages. Designs may be used in various visual media including magazines, billboards, advertising, point of sale materials and product packaging.
• Localize various Global layouts, iconography, package designs, website designs, logos, and illustrations according to client specifications.
• Meets with clients to discuss requirements and the design of the project.
• Creates rough drafts and sketches of concepts, and presents them to the respective manager and/or client for further discussion and revision.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree required; major or significant coursework in Art, Graphic Design, or related disciplines or a related fine arts field
• Minimum of 7+ years of experience in graphic and motion design and extensive knowledge of print, digital, and graphics media.
• Priority on digital media and motion design.
• A strong portfolio of illustrations, other graphics and/or designs.
• Superior artistic and design skills.
• High proficiency with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop)
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Ability to plan a project based on interactions with the client and in accordance with the clients
• requirements.
• Excellent time management and planning skills.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Flexible working hours, at least 2 days per week, to join meetings with the team in the USA.
