Job summary

Hitachi Solutions India Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced D365 Consultant to take responsibility for functional analysis, gap fit with MS Dynamics 365, and to draft specifications or drive development. You will lead sessions to demonstrate D365 F&O fit, advise clients on optimal usage, and configure modules to align with business processes.

The role requires 5+ years in ERP and D365 F&O functional configuration, plus at least one D365 Operations certification.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with ERP system.
• At least 5 years of experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations in functional configuration.
• At least 1 Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Operations certification is required.
• Should be able to understand at least 2-3 different key functional areas of the ERP solution.
• Ability to understand, communicate, interpret business processes and requirements.
• Willingness to travel, both locally and internationally, for client engagements, meetings, or business events as required.

Responsibilities

• Work as D365 Consultant on the assigned engagement.
• Lead in conducting Conference Room Pilot sessions showing Dynamics 365 F&O fit to the customers organization or clients’ requirement
• Advise customer organization on solution usage and help minimize gaps between standard product customer's business processes with creative configuration
• Prepare Business Process Discovery Documents
• Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O modules
• Prepare functional specification documents and design for customizations required for Dynamics 365 F&O implementations.
• Prepare User Manuals, Training plans
• Lead in conducting End user training
• Provide pre-go live and post go live end user support
• Ensure project documents are complete, and project is delivered successfully as per the plan
• Perform related duties as assigned
• Lead a team of Consultants/Analysts and take responsibility for their performance and admin tasks including approval of time sheets, expenses and leaves, as applicable
• Assist in providing mentoring and coaching to junior members
• Ensure effective leadership is implemented when managing a team or project team
