Crawford & Company in the Philippines (Taguig) seeks an experienced software engineer to design, code, test, debug, and document complex software systems. You will develop new software and modify existing systems to meet specialized needs, working with analysts and engineers to define interfaces and performance criteria.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of C# and REST API experience, 2+ years AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ElasticCache, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk, CloudFormation), and a strong OO

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years C# with REST API experience.
• 2+ years AWS including Lambda, Fargate, ElasticCache, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk and/or CloudFormation.
• Elasticsearch/ELK stack is a strong plus.
• Strong OO development background.
• Experience with MuleSoft, Angular, Auth0, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GraphQL.
• Proven experience delivering enterprise-scale, high-availability systems.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• High standards of code efficiency and cleanliness.
• In-depth troubleshooting and support skills.
• Must be available on East Coast hours.

Job Description:

Under minimal supervision, this role is responsible for the designing, coding, testing, debugging and documenting of complex software systems programming applications.

Responsibilities

• Develops new software and makes complex modifications to existing software to fit specialized needs and configurations.
• Confers with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system, to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
• Maintains technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ Years C# with a focus on developing REST APIs.
• 2+ years AWS including Lambda, Fargate, ElasticCache, SQS, SNS, Elastic Beanstalk and/or Cloudformation.
• Elasticsearch and/or ELK stack a very strong plus.
• Strong background in object oriented development techniques.
• MuleSoft, Angular, Auth0, CI/CD in Azure DevOps, GraphQL are strong plusses.
• Demonstrable experience implementing enterprise-scale, high volume, high availability systems.
• Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring developers.
• High standards of code efficiency and cleanliness.
• In depth troubleshooting/support skills.
• Must be available on East Coast hours.
