Seven Seven Global Services, Inc. is seeking an AWS (Developer) Engineer specializing in Python and Node.js to design and implement production microservices and serverless apps on AWS.

The role emphasizes API contracts, event-driven patterns, and IaC with Terraform within a spec-driven workflow. The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS experience, AWS Developer Associate certification, and familiarity with toolchains like Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 3+ years building production microservices/serverless apps on AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS, VPC Lattice, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, DynamoDB)
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and Node.js; .NET is a plus
• Experience designing and consuming REST/API contracts
• Working knowledge of event-driven patterns (SNS/SQS/EventBridge)
• Intermediate Terraform (can write/modify IaC, aligned with WVI guidelines)
• Git-based workflow and CI/CD pipeline experience, Azure DevOps
• Comfortable working in a spec-driven development workflow (implementing against or writing defined specs/contracts)
• Experience with Gen AI–assisted development tools (e.g. Claude Code, Kiro) in daily coding workflow
• AWS Developer Associate certification or equivalent
• Exposure to MuleSoft (or another iPaaS) and what a migration off it involves
• Familiarity with CQRS/Saga concepts (implementation under architect guidance is fine)

Focus: Microservices, Integration, Serverless Must-Have Qualifications

• 3+ years building production microservices/serverless apps on AWS (Lambda, Fargate, ECS, VPC Lattice, API Gateway, Step Functions, SQS/SNS/EventBridge, DynamoDB)
