Job summary

Optum is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer in Metro Manila to design, build, and deploy scalable AI/ML solutions for enterprise initiatives. You will develop NLP, RAG, OCR, and ML applications, deploying models across cloud environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 6+ years in AI/ML, 3+ years NLP, and 2+ years RAG, with 3+ years of cloud platform experience (Azure/AWS/GCP). Hybrid work and a comprehensive benefits package are offered.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of AI/ML engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on NLP experience.
• 2+ years of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• 3+ years deploying and managing ML models on cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• 3+ years using cloud-native AI/ML services (Azure ML, AWS SageMaker, GCP AI Platform).

Job Qualifications

Education

• At least 2nd Year College Undergraduate with relevant experience

• Bachelor's Degree preferred, ideally in:

  • Other related technology programs

Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of AI/ML Engineering experience

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP)

• 2+ years of experience working with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)

• 3+ years of experience deploying and managing ML models using cloud platforms such as:

• Microsoft Azure

• AWS

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

• 3+ years of experience utilizing cloud-native AI/ML services such as:

• Azure Machine Learning

• AWS SageMaker

• GCP AI Platform

Proven experience in:

• Model training

• Model deployment

• Performance monitoring

• MLOps best practices
