ATOMIT Corp. in the Philippines seeks an SQL Developer to join our data team. You will write and optimize SQL statements, ensure database performance, and support migrations and backups.

Ideal candidates have 1-2 years of experience, strong SQL skills, and familiarity with major relational databases. Hybrid setup with dayshift responsibilities and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience as SQL Developer
• Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases
• Skilled at optimizing large complicated SQL statements
• Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
• Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
• Capable of troubleshooting common SQL statement issues

Responsibilities

• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements
• Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases
• Prepare documentations and specifications
• Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
