We’re Hiring: SQL Developer!

The SQL Developer will develop and enhance MS-SQL queries and procedures, create custom reports as needed by different end clients and end-users.

You will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Development of high-quality database solutions
• Develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions
• Write and optimize SQL statements for data access and retention
• Perform regular database management duties including backups and audits
• Ensure that SQL databases remain accessible and stable
• Research required data, review and interpret ongoing business report requirements
• Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables and suggest new queries
• Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements
• Develop procedures and scripts for data migration
• Provide timely scheduled management reporting
• Investigate exceptions with regard to asset movements

Requirements:

• 2 to 4 years of experience as a SQL Developer or similar role, with SQL Server Reporting Services and SQL Server Analysis
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related course
• Excellent understanding of Microsoft SQL Server
• Good knowledge of HTML and JavaScript (not required but an advantage)
• Familiarity with the practical application of NoSQL NewSQL databases (not required but an advantage)
• Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the company’s success
