Job summary

IGT, a global leader in entertainment technology, seeks a highly skilled Database Developer based in the Philippines for fully remote work. You will design relational schemas, write optimized SQL, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to power live applications with reliable data.

You will own schema design, tune queries, and support OLAP models with hands-on development. The role requires 4–5 years of database engineering experience, MS-SQL expertise, and a solid grounding in ETL/ELT,

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of database engineering, SQL development, or backend engineering with data responsibilities.
• Strong MS-SQL expertise including complex joins, execution plans and indexing.
• Experience building ETL/ELT components and relational data modelling.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve relational schemas with tables, indexes, constraints and relationships.
• Develop and optimise SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and other logic.
• Analyse execution plans and improve performance and efficiency.
• Work with OLAP cube-based models, designing dimensions and measures.
• Develop and troubleshoot OLAP queries and support data layer features.
• Mentor team members on SQL practices and schema design.
• Collaborate in a small agile team to deliver high-quality features.
