Beyond Horizon Group in the Philippines is seeking a Sports Business Development & Partnerships Manager to drive growth across the Philippine sports ecosystem, focusing on rights acquisition, partnerships, grassroots development, and commercial opportunities. You will identify opportunities with leagues, clubs, sponsors, media, and government bodies, negotiate agreements, and manage ongoing partnerships.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in sports business, sports marketing, sports media, event management, business development, or related field.
• Strong understanding of the Philippine sports ecosystem, including professional and grassroots.
• Existing network within Philippine sports organizations, leagues, clubs, media, agencies, or commercial partners.
• Experience in sports rights acquisition, broadcasting rights, digital rights, or media distribution.
• Knowledge of Philippine sports governance and regulatory structures (PSC, GAB, NSAs).
• Strong negotiation, communication, partnership development, and contract management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and networking skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop opportunities for sports broadcasting, digital, and distribution rights in the Philippines.
• Lead business discussions, negotiations, and contract execution with leagues, event organizers, and rights holders.
• Explore partnerships with grassroots, community, university, and commercial sports events.
• Develop relationships with local sports associations, clubs, athlete agencies, sponsors, media companies, and other partners.
• Monitor the Philippine sports industry, including basketball, volleyball, boxing, football, esports, and other emerging sports.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop commercial partnership models based on local trends.
• Coordinate with government and sports regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Support partnership negotiations, contract execution, and ongoing relationship management.
