Job summary

Aprio, a nationally ranked CPA and advisory firm, is seeking a Specialty Tax Administrator to join the Specialty team in a hybrid setup. The role supports tax notices, data gathering, and documentation for authorities, with tasks across correspondence, reports, and client communications.

The position requires a related degree and 2+ years in a support role, preferably within CPA or law firms, and offers growth in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum of five (2) years related experience in a support role, preferably CPA or law firm.
• Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track tax notices for clients.
• Collaborate with clients and Tax Department staff to gather data.
• Use CCH Workflow to track due dates and ensure timely responses.
• Assist Tax Controversy and Employment Tax teams in preparing and submitting responses to tax authorities.
• Proofread and deliver correspondence to clients.
• Handle calls and emails, routing inquiries as needed.
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
• Prepare workpapers.
• File sales tax returns.
