Emerson is seeking a Specialist I Cash Application to join our finance team. You will provide first-line credit and collection services via phone and email to support financial and operational goals.

The role focuses on daily payment matching, accurate allocation against invoices, and supporting month-end close. Night shift availability and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience in Customer Service or BPO.
• Excellent English written and oral communication skills.
• Amenable to working the night shift schedule.

You will provide first-line credit and collection services through phone calls and email to achieve Emerson's financial and operational goals

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Review received payments (bank statements) daily.

• Match received payments to open receivables utilizing available payment details in the bank statements and also referencing remittance advice from customers.

• Ensure accurate and timely allocation of payments against invoices. This includes all payment types - wire, credit card, ACH, etc.

• As applicable, run automated cash posting and demo memo creation. Review and fix errors related to uploading.

• Assist in month-end close activities for proper balancing

You have a strong drive for results and exhibit passion and enthusiasm to get things done. You are proactive and highly innovative in approaching problem-solving efficiently. You can proficiently communicate ideas and influence both internal and external customers. You're interpersonally savvy and able to collaborate and efficiently work with people at any level.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in any finance field.

• With at least 1 year experience in Customer Service or BPO related fields
• Very good English written and oral communication skills, as all written and phone communication will be in English
• Amenable to working the night shift schedule
