Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Supply Planning Analyst in the Philippines to create weekly replenishment plans at the supplier level based on inventory, sell-out, and forecast data. You will participate in S&OP forecast meetings and derive a sound supply plan to maintain availability.

You will prepare monthly and weekly planning files and KPI reports, maintain healthy inventory in DC and stores, and collaborate cross-functionally to drive improvements and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• 1–2 years experience in demand or supply planning.
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus.
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Description

• Create weekly replenishment plans on a supplier level based on inventory parameters, actual sell-out, and planned forecast
• Participate in S&OP forecast meetings
• Calculate a proper supply plan based on generated demand forecast
• Prepare and update monthly and weekly supply planning files and KPI reports based on actuals
• Maintain healthy inventory in DC and store based on target days cover
• Closely work with demand planning specialist to drive adjustments on plan
• Monitor supplier issues and escalate as necessary to ensure availability
• Identify slow-moving SKUs and flag to stakeholders to drive action
• Identify SKUs with inventory with no-movement for the past 28 days
• Work with inventory controller on identifying stocks for balancing across warehouses
• Own the category group by being on-top of issues related to overall S&OP especially in ordering and availability
• Be able to work cross-functionally to assist in projects, drive action, or resolve issues
• Other tasks that may be relevant to the function

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Economics, or any relatable specialization
• Between 1-2 years work-related experience in demand or supply planning
• Experience with FMCG/grocery retailers is a plus
• Experience in demand planning for online marketplaces or e-commerce is a plus
• Analytical mind and business acumen with ability to work with large amounts of data to discover patterns and trends and to form conclusions based on findings. Must be extremely detail oriented
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with processing information using excel and/or google sheets
• Ability to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills
• Has a continuous improvement mindset
