• Be the POC for the team and act as backup to the team leader.
• Identify wastages in processes and drive continuous improvements.
• Coordinate end-to-end container dispatch operations across transport modes.
• Interact with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Monitor shipments and risks and drive corrective actions.
• Ensure customer service commitments through planning and communication.
• Deliver customer-centric service and manage inquiries and expectations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for visibility and compliance.
• Oversee accessorial costs and equipment utilization to improve efficiency.
• Foster strong stakeholder partnerships and support cross-functional objectives.

Spanish Single Carrier Operations Senior Specialist - LAM

This position is responsible for managing end-to-end dispatch operations, including shipment planning, carrier assignment, container movement monitoring, and ensuring timely delivery to customer locations. In addition to dispatch execution, the role oversees exception management activities such as vendor dispute resolution, charge approvals, and addressing operational issues that disrupt the standard process flow. The position also drives continuous improvement by identifying and implementing solutions to eliminate recurring disruptions and enhance overall process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end container dispatch operations across truck, rail, and barge networks, ensuring timely execution and service delivery.
• Manage daily interactions with customers, carriers, terminal operators, and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues and exceptions.
• Monitor shipment and container movements, proactively identifying risks and driving timely corrective actions.
• Ensure achievement of customer service commitments through effective planning, communication, and exception management.
• Deliver a customer-centric experience by addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and contributing to positive NPS outcomes.
• Maintain accurate operational records, system updates, and documentation to ensure visibility, compliance, and process integrity.
• Oversee accessorial costs, equipment utilization, container idling, and related approvals to drive operational efficiency.
• Foster strong stakeholder partnerships, support cross-functional team objectives, and contribute to continuous process and vendor performance improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Graduate
• Should be able to speak and write Spanish and English
• Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in shipping industry (better if from landside process) or a solid SME/SPOC experience in Finance, Customer Service, BPO, and other industries can also be considered
• Must be willing to work onsite in Pasig City; Full night shift schedule
• Technical Skills: MS Office tools, SAP BI applications/tools, programs or systems colleague would be responsible for operating, any other assisting software.
• Focus on productivity, quality, WFO adherence, SLA compliance, and Kaizen.
