About the role

The Spa Massage Therapist is responsible for providing professional, relaxing, and personalized massage and wellness treatments to hotel guests. The position ensures excellent guest service while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, professionalism, and spa operations.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests in a warm, courteous, and professional manner.


• Conduct brief consultations to understand guests' preferences, needs, and treatment expectations.


• Perform professional massage treatments such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Aromatherapy, and other approved massage techniques.


• Provide body treatments and other spa services according to established hotel standards and procedures.


• Adjust massage techniques and pressure based on guest preferences and appropriate treatment requirements.


• Maintain a clean, calm, and relaxing environment throughout the guest's spa experience.


• Prepare and sanitize treatment rooms, massage beds, linens, equipment, and supplies before and after each treatment.


• Follow proper hygiene, sanitation, health, and safety protocols at all times.


• Monitor the condition and inventory of spa supplies and report shortages or equipment concerns to the supervisor.


• Recommend appropriate spa treatments, products, and follow-up services when suitable.

About you

• Graduate of Massage Therapy, Wellness, or a related course.


• Preferably with TESDA Wellness Massage NC II or equivalent certification.


• At least 1–2 years of experience as a Massage Therapist, Spa Therapist, or Body Therapist; hotel or resort experience is preferred.


• Knowledge and experience in different massage techniques and spa treatments.


• Strong understanding of proper massage procedures, hygiene, and safety standards.


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


• Able to perform massage services for extended periods.


• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, holidays, and peak hotel periods.


• Must have complete employment requirements.
