Job summary

A leading wellness center in Olongapo is seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to provide professional massage services, including Swedish and Shiatsu techniques. The ideal candidate should be well-groomed and able to perform massages on diverse clients. Preference will be given to those with experience in a spa environment. The role includes designing personalized sessions, consulting clients about their health, and promoting the benefits of massage therapy.

Qualifications

• Must be a Licensed Massage Therapist/DOH licensed or has NCII or training for Massage Therapist.
• Experience working in a spa or therapy center environment preferred.

Job description

• Performs professional quality massage (e.g. Swedish, Shiatsu, etc.), within scope of practice and licensing (as applicable).
• Designs specific sessions based on members or guests individual needs.
• Consult with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful.
• Massage and knead the muscles and soft tissues in order to provide treatment for medical conditions, injuries or wellness maintenance.
• Prepare and blend oils, and apply the blends to clients' skin.
• Assists in the promotion of the health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy on a regular basis.
• Creates excellent member/guest experience through friendly and helpful attitude.
• Performs hot stone, deep muscle or prenatal therapy, based on appropriate training and minimum clinic education hours.
• Utilizes other approved modalities, in accordance with applicable law.
• Communicates various promotions to clients.
• Follows DOH guidelines/policies and safety protocols.
• Maintains the cleanliness of the therapy rooms and common areas.
• Completes Wellness Chart documentation accurately and completely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
