Job summary

Google Operations Center in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Sourcing Operations Team Lead to direct a high-performing team of Sourcing Specialists. You will oversee central intake, validate taxonomies, allocate resources, and ensure SLA adherence while maintaining strict security controls across procurement platforms.

This role requires 5+ years in strategic sourcing, strong leadership, and the ability to transform spend analytics into executive insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, indirect procurement, procurement analytics, or supply chain ops, in a high-compliance/shared-services environment.
• 3+ years coaching and leading sourcing teams.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience translating spend analytics into executive insights and recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee central intake, triage, and case assignment for sourcing requests.
• Validate taxonomy and route requests to appropriate Sourcing Specialists.
• Allocate resources based on spend category, complexity, and workload.
• Drive SLA compliance and timely acknowledgments to requesters.
• Lead kickoff meetings with stakeholders to define scope, timelines, and strategies.
• Manage day-to-day operations, capacity planning, and access controls.
• Enforce QA frameworks and procurement governance across the team.
• Own reporting and Business Reviews to showcase cost savings, SLA compliance, and security metrics.
• Escalate complex cases to senior leadership as needed.
• Hands-on end-to-end sourcing case work to balance workload and drive high-priority initiatives.
