Job summary

NCS Philippines is seeking a senior full-stack developer to join cross-functional Agile teams and help drive architectural decisions. You will work on planning, solutioning, and implementing scalable applications using React Native, ReactJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, SQL, and NodeJS, while aligning with DevOps practices.

You have 10+ years of software development experience, strong English/Filipino communication, and a track record of delivering high-quality code and robust UX components in fast-paced

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Deep understanding of the Agile software development process.
• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google).

Responsibilities

• Work as part of cross-functional Agile and SDLC project teams in planning and system solutioning
• Contribute to the creation of standardized processes and best practices
• Collaborate with developers, leadership, and other architects to bring strategic technical vision into reality
• Propose solutions using development experience and integrations knowledge
• Influence project scope to deliver effective and efficient solutions in a timely manner
• Analyze and verify requirements of the solution for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to a standard that aligns with what the business needs
• Provide assistance to development teams in the development process and resolve solution issues
• Participate in research/design of new systems
• Continuously improve platforms based on business demands and customer feedback
• Assist in the preparation of solutions documents and training materials. May provide technical training and support to the development team
• Other tasks that may be assigned

Skills & Qualifications

• Full stack developer with solid skills and experience in using React Native, ReactJS, GraphQL, MongoDB, SQL, and NodeJS.
• Deep understanding of the Agile software development process
• At least 10 years of software development experience
• Prescribe uniform standards of quality for code and tools
• Excellent debugging and optimization skills including code review
• Ability to leverage version control (Git) to coordinate development flows
• Experience in AuthN and AuthZ for application security (JWT, OAuth)
• Can design, test, and document UI Components
• Familiarity with DevOps tools: GitHub, Codecommit, Docker, Codepipeline, etc.
• Experience working with Docker container and Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google)
