Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking a Solutions Architect to lead or support IT solution architecture work across programs and projects. You will define the technology direction, ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, and deliver architecture artifacts that guide delivery teams.

The role requires 8+ years in IT, 2–3 years in solution architecture, and a willingness to work onsite in Makati with potential hybrid progression.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

Solutions Architect (SA) is accountable for leading or supporting the activities related to the development of IT's Solution Architecture. The role involves creating deliverables that provide solution direction for supporting the organizational and strategic portfolio of programs/projects. The Solutions Architect determines the most appropriate technology to resolve a business problem built around the parameters of enterprise architecture to aid the teams responsible for performing the project planning, implementation and operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Understand, apply and advocate company's Enterprise Architecture which includes architecture principles, architecture patterns, technology standards and non-functional requirements.

• Create and maintain solution patterns that will serve as a reference for reusability and standard for applicable use cases.

• Understand business drivers and business capabilities and determine the corresponding solution architecture and/or change requirements to deliver the target business outcome.

• Recommend appropriate solutions and/or related processes to improve efficiency of operations based on the analysis of gaps or critical deficiencies.

• Perform continual assessment of current state solutions to identify technical debt against target state solution; or transition to new or emerging technologies.

• Provide solution consultancy support to application and infrastructure owners within projects to ensure alignment with the overall solutions architecture.

• Present and seek approval of solution architecture from the defined approving channels and from other key stakeholders.

• Work closely with the solutions architecture lead, enterprise architects, program managers, other solutions architects, infrastructure and security architects, application and infrastructure delivery leads to ensure that the execution of architecture plans are aligned with enterprise architecture strategy and roadmap.

• Ensure that the actual implementation is aligned and has no critical deviations from the defined solution architecture.

• Proactively identify, escalatio and manage the technical risks and issues of the solution architecture.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology, similar courses/disciplines or with relevant work experience.

• At least 8 years of experience in IT software/services definition, build, and management.

• At least 2 to 3 years of experience in Solution Architecture practice responsible for the development of the overall solution vision that supports business-oriented project developments or strategic projects driven by IT.

• Must be willing to work onsite initially before transitioning to a hybrid setup in Makati.
