Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Participate in solution design sessions with architecture diagrams, proposals, and cost estimates under guidance from senior architects.
• Design and implement serverless AWS solutions using Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and related services.
• Support Amazon Connect implementations including contact flow design, IVR logic, Lex bot integration, and Contact Lens configuration.
• Prototype AI/ML solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Lex, and other AWS AI services for client use cases.
• Develop IaC templates using CloudFormation or CDK for repeatable deployments.
• Conduct technical discovery with clients to translate requirements into architecture recommendations.

iCXeed is seeking a mid-level Solutions Architect with a strong foundation in AWS cloud services and growing expertise in AI/ML technologies. This role will support the design and delivery of cloud-native solutions for iCXeed's client engagements, with a primary focus on Amazon Connect, serverless architectures, and emerging AI capabilities (Amazon Bedrock, generative AI).

The ideal candidate is a technically strong professional transitioning from a senior developer or associate SA background into a full solutions architecture role. You will work closely with the VP, Technology Solutions and senior team members, with a clear growth path toward becoming a senior AI/Cloud Architect within 12-18 months.

This position replaces an outgoing Associate Solutions Architect and is designed for someone ready to step up — not a lateral move, but a growth opportunity with mentorship and real client exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Participate in solution design sessions for client engagements, contributing architecture diagrams (HLDs/LLDs), technical proposals, and cost estimates under guidance from senior architects

• Design and implement serverless solutions on AWS using Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and related services — following iCXeed's serverless-first approach

• Support Amazon Connect implementations including contact flow design, IVR logic, Lex bot integration, and Contact Lens configuration

• Explore and prototype AI/ML solutions using Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, Lex, and other AWS AI services for client use cases

• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates using CloudFormation or CDK to ensure repeatable, secure deployments

• Conduct technical discovery with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into architecture recommendations

• Contribute to iCXeed's reusable architecture patterns library, reference architectures, and internal technical documentation

• Participate in architecture reviews and provide input on security, scalability, and cost optimization

• Support pre-sales activities including technical scoping, LOE estimation, and client demos/POCs

• Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to ensure solution designs are implementable and aligned with CI/CD practices

• Present technical solutions to client technical teams (with senior architect support for executive-level presentations)

• Stay current with AWS service releases, AI/ML advancements, and industry trends — sharing learnings with the team

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)

• 3-5 years of professional experience in software development, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS services in a production environment

• Experience designing and deploying at least 2-3 cloud-based solutions end-to-end (from requirements to production)

Technical Requirements:

• AWS Solutions Architect — Associate/Professional certification

• Any AWS Specialty certification (Machine Learning, Data Engineer, or Security)

• Strong proficiency in AWS core services: Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, Step Functions, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC

• Experience with at least one of: Amazon Connect, Amazon Lex, or Amazon Bedrock

• Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform)

• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Python, JavaScript/TypeScript,

• Understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven design patterns

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or similar)

Nice to Have / Preferred Qualifications

Technical & Industry Experience:

• Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect (contact flows, CCP customization, Contact Lens)

• Exposure to generative AI / LLM concepts (RAG, prompt engineering, agentic workflows)

• Experience with Amazon Bedrock, SageMaker, or similar AI/ML platforms

• Background in consulting or professional services (client-facing delivery)

• Experience producing architecture documentation (HLDs, LLDs, ADRs)

• Familiarity with TOGAF or similar enterprise architecture frameworks

• Previous experience in contact center or CX technology space
