Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Solutions Architect or similar architecture role.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks, cloud technologies, and software development methodologies.
• Experience with architecture governance and strategy.

The Solutions Architect is responsible for designing end-to-end technology solutions that align with business objectives and client requirements. This role translates business needs into scalable, secure, and cost-effective solution architectures while producing detailed design artifacts to guide implementation. The Solutions Architect provides technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery from concept to deployment and alignment with the organization's enterprise architecture strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead the implementation of solution architectures across multiple business applications and technologies, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy, business capabilities, and organizational goals.

• Develop and maintain solution architectures for complex, cross-functional initiatives while collaborating with application architects responsible for individual projects.

• Provide architectural guidance and consulting support to project teams to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

• Evaluate existing, emerging, and evolving technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improved business outcomes.

• Promote and support enterprise IT strategies, architecture principles, standards, and governance frameworks.

• Assess the current business and technology landscape to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities, and recommend solutions that improve operational efficiency and business performance.

• Analyze technology trends, competitor strategies, and industry developments to determine their potential impact on the organization.

• Define architecture principles, design standards, solution patterns, and technical guidelines to ensure consistency across technology initiatives.

• Establish and oversee architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and solution quality.

• Develop and maintain application and technology roadmaps that support the organization's future-state architecture.

• Lead the evaluation and selection of software products, platforms, and services, including both commercial and custom-built solutions.

• Collaborate with application development, infrastructure, and project teams to ensure proposed solutions align with architectural standards and recommend necessary adjustments when required.

• Assess the organizational, operational, and financial impact of proposed solutions, including implications for processes, skills, organizational structure, and technology investments.

• Prepare and maintain comprehensive architecture documentation, including solution designs, technical specifications, and architecture decisions.

• Work closely with the Project Management Office (PMO) and other stakeholders to ensure project execution aligns with approved solution designs, scope, and business objectives.
