Job summary

The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of life insurance products, cloud services, architecture patterns and strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/IT or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably in life insurance.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, processes, and regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in modern architecture patterns, cloud services and software dev practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the overall Architect for a domain, managing solutions and interdependencies.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects to guide Solutions Designers.
• Ensure designs meet standards and perform design reviews.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements.
• Design scalable and secure solutions to improve customer experience and operations.
• Lead evaluation and selection of software products and services.
• Oversee implementation and integration with existing platforms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies in life insurance.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Solutions Architect, preferably in the life insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of life insurance products, business processes, and regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in modern architecture patterns, cloud services, and software development practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the overall Architect for a specific domain, looking after all solutions (and interdependencies) relating to said domain regardless of the area.
• Works with the Enterprise Architect/s on the overall strategy and provides direction to Solutions Designers (SolDes) on developing solutions for their specific areas.
• Ensures that Solutions designed by SolDes adhere to standards and provides review and sign-off on designs relating to their domains.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Design and develop scalable and secure solutions that enhance the customer experience and streamline operations.
• Lead the evaluation and selection of software products and services.
• Oversee the implementation of new systems, including integration with existing platforms.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in the life insurance sector.
