Job summary

Sun Life Financial in Manila seeks an experienced Network Engineer to join the Enterprise Network Service team. The role involves designing, implementing and maintaining on-premises and cloud network solutions that support global business operations.

You will contribute to security, scalability and reliability of the network landscape. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in network design and operations, strong vendor certifications and hands-on experience with data centre and WAN technologies,

Qualifications

• Ten+ years in network design and support or equivalent experience.
• Industry, professional, or vendor certifications (CCIE, CISSP, TOGAF, ITIL, AWS, Azure, Microsoft, VMWARE) are advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with on-prem and cloud connectivity, data centres, WAN/LAN, and security integrations.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and SME guidance within projects to deliver secure solutions compliant with governance and standards.
• Create and review high- and detailed-level designs including security, resiliency, sizing and release documentation.
• Contribute to operations, maintenance, and evolution of network infrastructure on-premises and in-cloud; support POC, LCM, health and incident remediation.
• Advance enabling technologies for Automation, Data & Analytics, DevOps, API, and Digital Assets within Network Services.
