About the role

As a Solutions Architect at Dialpad, you will ensure that customers are set up for immediate access on Day 1. You’ll act as a subject‑matter expert, consulting and guiding clients on technical solutions, delivering a world‑class experience, and championing our platform’s capabilities. This position reports to the Manager, Solution Architect and requires ability to work US hours.

What you’ll do

• Design and configure contact center call flows, integrating with business systems and maintaining accurate reporting.
• Collaborate with clients to understand operational needs and tailor Dialpad solutions to optimize call handling, automation, and analytics.
• Provision and configure desk phones, providing best‑practice recommendations for efficient setups.
• Lead deployment efforts, overseeing call‑flow design, integrations, and system configurations to align with business objectives.
• Troubleshoot issues and identify/report bugs during deployments, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption for end users.
• Analyze and refine workflows, proactively identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and performance.
• Perform risk analysis and change management, ensuring project success and on‑time delivery.
• Conduct video‑conferencing sessions to provide expert insights, guide clients through implementation, and promote best‑practice adoption.

Skills you’ll bring

• Excellent grasp of modern cloud communications platforms, such as Google Workspace and Office 365.
• Experience with business VoIP telephony services (on‑premise or SaaS).
• Knowledge of VoIP codecs and technologies (G.711, G.729, G.722, OPUS, H.264, VP8, VP9, WebRTC, H.323, SIP, network analyzers).
• Experience with network infrastructure (firewalls, routers, switches, wireless) and WAN technologies (MPLS, VPLS, SD‑WAN).
• Experience with data‑center technologies (public and private clouds).
• Familiarity with enterprise service delivery components (web servers, application servers, databases, web services, mainframes, NAS).
• Proven track record implementing CCaaS and UCaaS solutions.
• Strong engineering skills in software development, system integration, and database management.
