Job Summary:

The Site Performance Analyst (NS) is reporting to Solar Operations and Maintenance Lead and is responsible for the real-time monitoring, control, and optimization of the site’s solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS) systems. The role ensures operational efficiency, safety, and compliance with system performance metrics and operational standards.
The Site Performance Analyst identifies performance anomalies, coordinates with on-ground teams to carry out maintenance or repairs and serves as the central point for managing site performance data.

System Monitoring and Data Analysis

• Monitor the real-time performance of solar PV and BESS systems using SCADA or other monitoring software.
• Analyze system data to identify deviations, inefficiencies, or failures.
• Track key performance indicators such as energy yield, performance ratio, availability, and battery state of charge.
• Generate performance reports and metrics for internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Oversight

• Ensure solar PV and BESS systems operate within defined parameters.
• Coordinate grid synchronization and manage energy output adjustments as required.
• Monitor weather conditions and assess their potential impact on energy production.

Incident Response

• Respond promptly to alarms and alerts from the monitoring system.
• Identify and diagnose equipment or process issues using SCADA system data.
• Coordinate with field technicians or engineers to resolve problems efficiently.
• Maintain communication logs of all incidents and actions taken.

Maintenance Coordination

• Schedule preventive maintenance based on performance data and system requirements.
• Communicate with field technicians or contractors on corrective maintenance needs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety and operational standards.

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain detailed records of operational data, incidents, resolutions, downtime, and maintenance activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on system performance and downtime.
• Provide insights and recommendations to management based on system data.

Other Duties

• Perform other related tasks as assigned by the Solar O&M Lead.
