Job summary

Motolite Marketing Corp. is seeking a Site Survey / Field Assessment professional to provide site surveys, field data collection, and technical validation for Solar PV and BESS projects in Metro Manila.

The role ensures accurate site information, measurements, and observations to support engineering design and project implementation. Responsibilities include coordinating with design engineers, documenting findings, and preparing handover packages.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and technical assessments to support Solar PV and BESS project development and implementation.
• Gather site data on physical conditions, electrical infrastructure, equipment, and installation constraints.
• Assess site readiness and identify technical considerations affecting engineering design and project execution.
• Identify site-specific risks, limitations, and opportunities that may impact feasibility and implementation.
• Collect, verify, and document field measurements, load data, equipment inventories, and other inputs.
• Validate survey data for accuracy before turnover to the Design Team.
• Ensure field information is organized and traceable for future engineering and project reference.
• Support the maintenance of accurate site records and survey documentation.
• Perform electrical audits and site evaluations to assess existing infrastructure and equipment conditions.
• Evaluate installation requirements, utility interfaces, equipment compatibility, and constraints.
• Provide recommendations from technical observations and field assessments.
• Translate survey findings into technical inputs for engineering design and documentation.
• Coordinate with Solar Design Engineers and the Solar PV Design Lead on survey findings.
• Communicate field observations and constraints to the engineering team.
• Prepare survey reports, field assessment summaries, site documentation, and handover packages.
• Maintain organized records of site visits, measurements, and findings.
• Coordinate with customers, contractors, utilities, and other stakeholders during site visits.
• Serve as technical representative during site assessments.
• Support continuous improvement of survey methodologies and reporting practices.
• Stay aware of renewable energy technologies and industry developments.

Job Summary

Provides site survey, field assessment, technical validation, and data collection support for external Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. Ensures accurate site information, technical measurements, and field observations are gathered, validated, and documented to support engineering design, project planning, technical solution development, and successful project implementation.

  • Support the maintenance of accurate site records and survey documentation.
• 1.3 Conduct Technical Site Evaluations
  • Perform electrical audits and site evaluations to assess existing infrastructure and equipment conditions.
  • Evaluate installation requirements, utility interfaces, equipment compatibility, and technical constraints.
  • Support identification of design considerations that affect project performance, safety, cost, and constructability.
  • Provide recommendations arising from technical observations and field assessments.
• 1.4 Support Design Input Development
  • Translate site survey findings into technical inputs supporting engineering design and technical documentation.
  • Coordinate with Solar Design Engineers and the Solar PV Design Lead regarding survey findings and site requirements.
  • Ensure field observations and technical constraints are communicated accurately to the engineering team.
  • Support technical clarifications required during the design development process.
• 1.5 Prepare Technical Documentation and Handover Packages
  • Develop survey reports, field assessment summaries, site documentation, photographs, and technical handover packages.
  • Ensure survey outputs are accurate, complete, and aligned with project requirements and documentation standards.
  • Maintain organized records of site visits, inspections, measurements, and technical findings.
  • Support document control requirements associated with project surveys and engineering activities.
• Coordinate with Customers and Project Stakeholders
  • Coordinate site visits, field assessments, and technical surveys with customers, contractors, consultants, utilities, and other stakeholders.
  • Sserve as a technical representative during site assessments and information-gathering activities.
  • Communicate survey findings, site constraints, and data requirements to relevant stakeholders.
  • Support effective coordination between Commercial, Engineering, Design, and Project Implementation teams.
• Support Continuous Improvement and Technical Excellence
  • Recommend improvements to survey methodologies, reporting practices, and field data collection processes.
  • Contribute to the development of site survey standards, templates, and best practices.
  • Maintain awareness of industry developments, technologies, and engineering practices relevant to renewable energy projects.
  • Support initiatives that improve data accuracy, design quality, and project readiness.
