Job summary

DN Better Earth New Energy Corporation seeks an experienced Project Engineer to drive planning, design, and implementation of solar energy projects in Quezon City, Metro Manila. You will oversee timelines, coordinate with procurement, construction, and operations, and ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.

Responsibilities include site supervision of electrical installations, testing and commissioning PV components, and conducting feasibility studies to ensure project viability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project Engineer in renewable energy.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with industry regulations, codes, and standards.
• Adaptable to changes and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of project timelines, work schedules, and execution plans.
• Ensure compliance with the industry standards, local codes, and client specifications.
• Monitor day-to-day site activities such as electrical installations works.
• Supervise contractor or subcontractor performance to ensure work is executed according to plan and safety standards.
• Conduct testing and commissioning the PV system components including inverters, cables protection system and other associated electrical equipment.
• Perform inspections to verify the proper installation of solar panels, inverters, combiner box, breakers, monitoring system and other associated electrical equipment.
• Perform inverter startup, system energization, synchronization with the grid and load test.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability and alignment with company goals.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on schedule and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, construction, and operations, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges, ensuring projects meet quality and safety standards.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
