Job summary

ConnectOS is seeking a Solar Engineer in Metro Manila to design, develop, and implement PV energy systems. You will utilise PVsyst, Helioscope, and AutoCAD to model layouts, sizes, and configurations for efficient solar projects.

You will conduct feasibility studies, prepare technical drawings, and support project bidding, permitting, and commissioning, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver sustainable energy solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field.
3+ years of experience in solar energy system design and engineering.
Strong PV technology and electrical engineering knowledge.
Proficiency with PV design software and CAD tools.
Knowledge of local building codes and permitting requirements.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for solar projects.
Design PV systems including layout, sizing, shading, and electrical configuration.
Perform energy modelling and financial analysis for viability.
Prepare engineering drawings and technical documentation for permitting and construction.
Coordinate with teams, contractors, and regulators to ensure compliance.
Provide technical support during development, construction, and commissioning.
Stay updated on solar energy trends and technologies.
Support sales and project bidding with technical input.
