Job summary

Buskowitz Energy Inc. is seeking a Registered Electrical Engineer to support solar project development and field activities in Metro Manila.

The role involves assisting the Project Manager with timelines, documentation, and client communication, while supervising electricians and site personnel to ensure high-quality installation. Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project records, and preparing weekly progress reports.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE).
• 1–2 years relevant experience required.
• Solar installation experience is highly preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other solar design/installation applications.
• Occasional travel is required; food and transportation allowances provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in creating project timelines and documentation.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors’ progress and performance.
• Assist in client communication and reporting on projects.
• Ensure quality of installation and safekeeping of materials on site.
• Create weekly reports for management and client submissions.
• Supervise electricians and solar laborers on assigned projects.
• Ensure project documentation complies with ISO and company requirements.

JOB SUMMARY

To ensure each assigned project is executed based on the project guidelines while ensuring that design specifications, quality standards, proper testing and commissioning methods and compliance requirements are followed as well as aiding the Project Manager in proper documentation in accordance to ISO and company requirements from the start of the project until handover. To undergo rigorous training to mold himself/herself into future Project Managers.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Development

• Assist Project Manager in creating project timelines, project-related documentation and during execution of solar construction projects
• Assist in coordinating and managing subcontractors’ progress and performance
• Assist Project Manager in terms of project-related client communication
• Assist Project Manager in ensuring quality of installation of the project
• Assist Project Manager in proper safekeeping and inventory of materials on site
• Creates weekly reports for submission to both management team and client
• Handle construction logbook Aid in permitting works, if necessary
• Able to communicate effectively with client in terms of project reporting
• Able to follow proposed work schedules and pre-planned activities
• Is proactive in escalating project and client issues to Project Manager
• Must be able to complete project documentation in accordance to ISO and company requirements from the start of the project until handover
• Is able to supervise the electricians and solar laborers assigned to his or her project

Operations Technical Support

• Assistance in Finalizing As-built plans – Assist the Design team in finalization of As Built plans using Autocad for the completed projects
• Participate in installation and quality assurance of all ongoing projects
• Other technical support (as needed)

Research and Development

• Slowly learn and research about other aspects of the business (operations and maintenance and project management)
• Proactive in learning the policies involving solar pv systems and electrical engineering Communicate any relevant new information regarding solar pv trends, news, practices

Job Requirements

• Temporary lodging is arranged only if the project location is very far; you will still report back to our Metro Manila headquarters regularly.
