Job summary

Blueshift Energy Inc. is seeking a skilled Copywriter to craft clear, persuasive copy for our websites, landing pages, social media, ads, and emails.

You will develop headlines, hooks, taglines, and campaign messages that address customer needs and objections, while producing short and long-form video scripts for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and more. You will adapt tone for different audiences and platforms, research solar energy products, and apply basic SEO practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Copywriting, Content Writing, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and research skills.
• Strong understanding of persuasive writing, customer psychology, storytelling, headlines, hooks, and calls-to-action.
• Experience writing marketing copy for digital platforms, websites, social media, advertisements, or email campaigns.
• Basic knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and digital marketing.
• Ability to write for different audiences, platforms, and stages of the customer journey.
• Ability to simplify technical or complex information into clear and persuasive copy.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable.
• Able to accept feedback and revise copy based on marketing and performance requirements.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in solar energy, renewable energy, technology, construction, or home improvement is an advantage.
• Portfolio or writing samples are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy for websites, landing pages, social media, advertisements, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
• Develop compelling headlines, hooks, calls-to-action, taglines, and campaign messages.
• Create copy that addresses customer needs, concerns, objections, and motivations.
• Write short-form and long-form video scripts for YouTube, Facebook, TikTok, and other platforms.
• Adapt messaging and tone based on the target audience, platform, and marketing objective.
• Research solar energy products, services, customer behavior, competitors, and industry trends to support accurate and relevant copy.
• Apply basic SEO and keyword research principles when creating website and search-focused content.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Editing, Design, and Production teams to develop campaign materials.
• Review and revise copy based on feedback, testing, and campaign performance.
• Monitor content and campaign performance to identify opportunities for stronger messaging and engagement.
• Ensure all copy is accurate, grammatically correct, original, and aligned with the company's brand voice.
• Manage multiple copywriting assignments while consistently meeting deadlines.
