Job summary

SimCorp Manila is seeking a Lead Service Delivery Consultant with strong testing and automation skills to join our global Validation and Test delivery unit. You will analyze upgrade artifacts, design detailed test cases, and drive incident management through the full defect lifecycle while collaborating with product development and business units.

This hybrid role (2x in-office per week) offers opportunities to contribute to optimization of testing services within a Great Place To Work-certified

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Maths.
• Knowledge of software upgrade and testing lifecycle, incident management and standard test deliverables.
• 7+ years of testing experience on complex financial systems.
• Experience in test automation is beneficial.
• ISTQB or equivalent qualification recommended.
• Unsupervised design and development of test automation scripts is beneficial.
• Familiar with SQL to manipulate data.
• MS Office knowledge.
• Able to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Understanding of Agile practices.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand upgrade and implementation project artifacts (requirements, scope, test plan, strategy, documentation, reporting).
• Support all phases of SimCorp Dimension upgrade and implementation project processes.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on analyzed artifacts.
• Perform, monitor, and report actual test outcomes vs. expected results.
• Provide incident management for failed tests through the defect lifecycle.
• Participate in test automation and apply up-to-date testing tools and cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate closely with product development and business units at SimCorp.
• Participate in pre-testing kickoffs with clients to document workflows for test implementation.
